Preliminary Program for the Expedition to the Ushakova Island

Expedition's Program

Day 1 - group's leave for Vorkuta (train)
Day 3 - arrival to Vorkuta, accomodation in frontier guards' detachment; meeting with the detachment's and arctic air regiment's for Federal Frontier Service officers
Days 4-5 - a trip through Vorkuta, ring road (mines), "Sedmaya Voda" group show before the frontier guards in honour of the 55th Victory Day Anniversary
Day 6 - loading onto Federal Frontier Service choppers, flight to Dixon (5 hours), stop, additional top-up (delay due weather conditions is possible); Eclipse (2hrs), Cheluskin Cape (2,5 hrs), Sredny Island (1.5 hrs). Flight over Arctic - nature, ice, bears, etc. Accomodation on the arctic frontier post.
Day 7 - excursion to Domashny Island (Ushakov's Tomb) Flight to Ushakova Island. (Meeting Ushakov's daughter on the island, communication sessions with rest of the world from the small arctic island). Day 8 - flight from Sredny Island to Vorkuta
Days 9-10 - a journey from Vorkuta to Moscow

Delays due weather conditions are possible.
