Children who lost fathers as result of Kursk tragedy to have a rest in Austria
Children of the Russian seamen who died abroad the Kursk nuclear-powered submarine will go to Austria for a rest in that country. Staffers of the Austria-Russia friendship society said on January 4 the children would arrive in Vienna on the eve of Orthodox Christmas (which is marked in the small hours of January 7). After that they would be taken on an interesting tour of the city. They would celebrate Christmas around a Christmas tree at an Alpine resort. They would also be outfitted with everything necessary for mountain skiing. They would be presented with gifts on behalf of Russian and Austrian firms and other organizations who have made the trip possible.
Austrians take the suffering of the Russian children close to heart. In November last year that country too went through a tragedy when a cable train caught fire some 100 kilometers southwest of Salzburg, killing 155 people.
