The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve is subordinated to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The Peterhof palace and park ensemble is included in the UNESCO list of International Heritage, # 540, 17.10.89. This decision was accepted at the UNESCO session of December 7-12, 1990, Ref.: CLT/H/01/73 URS of February 14, 1991.
The Museum-Reserve includes the following architectural monuments:
The Great Palace, the Monplaisir Palace, the Marly Palace, the Hermitage Palace, the Cottage Palace, Peter I's Palace, the Grottos, the Benois Museum, the Catherine Block, the Bath House, the Chapel, the Upper Garden, the Lower Park, the Alexandria Park. On the territory of Museum-Reserve there are about 150 fountains, including 4 cascades: the Great Cascade, the Chessboard Hill Cascade, the Golden Hill Cascade, and the Lion Cascade.

Winter time
The Great Palace:
Daily except Monday and the last Tuesday of each month, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (the booking-office closes at 5:00 p.m.)
The Monplaisir Palace, the Grottos, and the Chapel are closed for visitors.
The other museums are open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Summer time (from May to October)
Daily except Monday and the last Tuesday of each month, 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (the booking-office closes at 5:00 p.m.)
The Bath House - closed on Wednesdays and the last Tuesday of each month.
The Catherine Block - closed on Thursdays and the last Tuesday of each month.
